Naturalist Judy Semroc of Nature Spark begins the program with an introductory power point presentation on the many species of goldenrods native to northeastern Ohio. Afterwards, Judy and Native Plant Society President Judy Barnhart lead a hike to observe goldenrod species in their habitat.

An outstanding field guide, Goldenrod's of Northeast Ohio: A Field Guide to Identification and Natural History, co-authored by Judy Semroc is available through the Cleveland Museum of Natural History bookstore website.
