Program Description:
Western Reserve Land Conservancy’s staff leads this hike to see how the recently opened former Newbury Sand and Gravel operation was renovated and turned into a nature preserve.

Totaling 116 acres, the property is a testament to nature’s resiliency and ability to heal with a mix of habitats, including forested wetlands, reclaimed quarry ponds and emergent marsh with open water.
