NPSNEO: Garlic Mustard Workshop

The Working Woods at Holden Arboretum Celebrate Earth Day by learning that even invasive plants can have pests.

Rebecah Troutman, Natural Areas Biologist, Holden Forests and Gardens will share her research on an aphid and virus that are attacking the invasive garlic mustard taking over our woodlands. Learn how to identify these new welcome pests and help with the research by reporting your findings on a mapping system. After an introductory power point, we'll head into the woods to see examples and maybe pull a few plants.
