Geauga Park District 2022 Bioblitz at Observatory Park
Paul J. Pira, Biologist, cordially invites natural history experts and enthusiasts to the Geauga Park District's 19th annual Bioblitz.

The Observatory Park property is comprised of 1,200 acres located in Montville Township. The headwaters of the Cuyahoga River and its associated riparian wetlands flow through Observatory Park. Other habitats such as mature upland forests, seepage wetlands, wet meadows, emergent marshes, ponds, and shrub-lands abound. There is a lot of diversity here to explore and some great swamp forests.
Details are as follows:
- Meet at the Robert McCullough Science Center.
- A brief introduction and meeting will be held at 8:30 am and the Bioblitz will begin shortly thereafter.
- Breakfast & lunch will be provided this year.

You can survey before 8:30 a.m. if you like. Please bring any field equipment you may
need and coordinate with Paul. Paul's contact information is in his
