NPS: Mentor Marsh Restoration, Lake County

From helicopter spraying of invasive phragmites to reseeding the marsh with native species, the Cleveland Museum of Natural History has been busy restoring the marsh to its former glory. Mentor Marsh Naturalist Becky Donaldson gives an overview of the history of Mentor Marsh and the restoration efforts at the Carol Sweet Nature Center before relocating to the rebuilt board walk to see what’s blooming.
End the evening enjoying the sunset from the board walk.
