The Cleveland-Akron-Canton area is competing in the 2019 City Nature Challenge. Cities around the world are documenting biodiversity as number of participants, number of observations, and number of species are shared and compared by location. If you're in the Cleveland area, head outside to observe and record the living things near you. Check out your local museums, parks, and nature centers to participate with an expert or try it yourself at home.

Observations recorded in the following counties will automatically be added to the project: Cuyahoga, Lake, Geauga, Medina, Lorain, Portage, Summit, Stark, Carroll, Ashtabula, Tuscarawas, Erie or Huron
