Join Jim Bissell, Curator of Botany at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, as he leads this joint trip with NEON (Northeast Ohio Naturalists). This cold woods on the eastern shoreline of Pymatuning Lake harbors several rare plants. Jim expects to find more.

Directions: Take US Rt. 6 to Andover Square. From Andover, travel north on US Rt. 6 (OH Rt. 7), 3.2 miles to the Padanarum Rd. intersection. Turn right (east) onto Padanarum Rd. and travel 2.4 miles to the boat launch. The parking area is on the north side of the road. The swamp is just north of the parking area. Padanarum Rd. intersects with Pymatuning Lake Road before it ends at the boat launch.

east on Ohio Rt. 85 to the traffic light at the intersection of Pymatuning Lake Rd., then north to Padanarum Rd.
