Jim Bissell, Curator of Botany at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History, leads this joint trip with NEON (Northeast Ohio Naturalists).  Armstrong Hemlock Swamp has outstanding hemlock forests, skunk cabbage seepages and a lake plain swamp forest.

Location:  assembling in the Burger King parking lot in Conneaut, Ashtabula County

Directions:  Take I-90 East through Ashtabula County to the Ohio Route 7 exit.  Travel North towards Conneaut.  At the first traffic light North of I-90 turn Left.
