Cleveland Metroparks Bedford Reservation

Location:  Meet at the Hemlock Creek Picnic Area

Learn about the historic town of Little Egypt on this hike with Volunteer Naturalist Fred Losi.  We will explore previous mill sites, railroads, and taverns before walking up Egypt Road to visit the Gleeson family cemetery.  We will also visit the location of a historic bridge over Tinker's Creek on recently acquired Cleveland Metroparks property west of Dunham Road.  Historian Jean Kainsinger will join Fred on this hike and add her amazing knowledge of Walton Hills where historic Little Egypt is located.
